LACKS D/W; Imperial octavo, green cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine, illus eps, 128pp, illus, scruffy VG- (moderate rubbing & soiling to boards, light bruising to board extrems, moderate fraying to board corners & spine extrems, moderate sun-fading to spine, binding moderately shaky & starting to crack at gutters, p.47-48 coming loose but still present, prev. owner's name in blue ink to fep, light-moderate foxing/soiling to prelims/terminals, otherwise intermittent light soiling/creasing throughout - light staining in proximity of thread binding, light foxing/discolouration to page edges, a couple of spots of soiling/grazing to illustrations otherwise all clean, a few small but heavy diagonal creases to page corners where previously folded not impacting on text, a couple of small closed tears to page extrems not impacting on text. The book is slightly delicate but still in one piece overall - a suitable reading copy if handled with care)
