Quarto, black leather boards, gilt lettering & tooling/decoration to boards, aeg, frontispiece with tissue guard, xiv + 824pp, folding maps & illus, G- (spine missing with v lg cracks to hinges- rear board detached, boards heavily chafed/rubbed but still beautiful- some surface loss, considerable closed tearing to some pages/folding maps, occasional page loose/detached, colossal cracking at gutters, heavy staining to page edges) Please feel free to ask for photos- recommended.
