Quarto, half-bound, black buckram boards with gilt decorative rule to boards, gilt lettering & gilt stamped panels to black leather spine, aeg, glossy marbled eps, beautiful wild-flower frontispiece colour plate with tissue guard, xviii + 180pp, illus, VG- (heavy rubbing & moderate fraying to leather spine & leather board corners, approx. 12cm crack to front hinge at top of spine, otherwise small cracks to spine extrems, some chafing and soiling to boards, heavy cracking to gutters & binding delicate throughout - boards slightly shaky and several pages loose but present, prev. owner's name has been cut out of title page at top fore-edge corner, light spots of foxing to pages/plates throughout. Contents are overall still presentable and tidy)
