first edition 288pp illus, (b/w, artwork, drawings and diagrams) VG (half black leather w. marbled boards and gilt dec. titling and bands to spine, sl wear to head and foot of spine and along hinges area w. minor surface loss, sl chipping to foot of spine w. splitting to upper and lower edges of front hinge and bottom of lower hinge w. minor detaching, boards v. sl rubbed w. sl wear along edges, mainly to bottom edges and corners w. some surface loss exposing interior texture of boards, that said the original boards and spine are in very nice condition, sl foxing in places to prelims and eps w. inconspicious owners signature to ffep, internal paper seperation to ffep gutter w. binding holding firm and only sl detachment at head and foot, sl crease to rear fep, edges of content red, v. sl foxing to some sections of contents, one leaf of contents detached and sl crumpled but no loss and inserted in correct location)
