volume two only, text in English and French, correction of last plate description (states Vienna from Dobling, changed by hand to Vienna from the Palace of Belvedore), no title page, quarto, brown leather boards with gilt rule and five raised bands to spine, gilt lettering and rule to front board, gilt page edges, marbled eps, frontispiece, unpaginated, illus with 31 lithographic full-page plates, VG (rubbing and bruising to extremities, some small white spots to front board, light scratching to boards, small indentation to rear board, some pencil markings to prelims, some foxing esp. to tissue and page edges, small hole to one layer of tissue), in presentation a tidier copy than our description suggests
